We hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving break and are ready for three more weeks of school before the semester wraps up. Please read this newsletter thoroughly to stay up to date on everything happening with GHS Boys Lacrosse!
HOLIDAY FUNDRAISER UPDATE – Thank you to everyone who powered this year’s Holiday Fundraiser! Your incredible enthusiasm and effort made it a huge success, and our program will feel the impact in a big way. Once all the details are finalized, we’ll share the official results — but we are excited to announce that we crushed our sales goal!
We’re grateful for your support and fired up for an amazing season ahead!
You reported sales and chose one of two pickup windows at Statice Floral (2480 Kipling St, Lakewood, CO 80215) for wreath and arrangement orders.
- Early Pickup:
- 12/5 (4–6 PM)
- 12/6 (10 AM–1 PM)
- Later Pickup:
- 12/14 (11 AM–1 PM)
- 12/15 (4–6 PM)
THE WEEK AHEAD
MONDAY DECEMBER 1 – TEAM STORE CLOSES
42% of our players have not ordered their required Player Pack items. PLEASE ORDER TODAY!
PLAYER PACKS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL PLAYERS AND ARE ONLY AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE THROUGH OUR TEAM STORE. Player Packs include 7 items (hoodie, sweatpants, 2 short-sleeve shooter shirts, 1 long-sleeve shooter shirt, and 2 pairs of shorts).
- NEW PLAYERS:
REQUIRED to purchase a full Player Pack. - RETURNING PLAYERS:
REQUIRED to purchase the NEW 2 short-sleeve and 1 long-sleeve shooter shirt .*These are the only mandatory items if you already have last year’s pack. Sweatpants, shorts, and hoodies from previous seasons are still allowed. - Need a replacement or an individual item? All Player Pack pieces are available à la carte.

TUESDAY DECEMBER 2 – PRE-SEASON TRAINING!
We are thrilled to partner with Nexus Strength and Performance for our pre-season weight and agility training. We will begin Tuesday December 2 right after school in the Weight Room from 3:45 – 4:45 PM and continue weekly. All players are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity. See you at 3:45 ready to work and train for our upcoming Spring Season. 
THURSDAY DECEMBER 4 – PRACTICE ON GHS TURF!
Practice outside on the Golden High School Turf – 4:00-5:30 PM. Watch for updates from Coach Khalid if the weather doesn’t cooperate.
FRIDAY DECEMBER 5 – PRACTICE INDOORS!
Practice indoors at the Foothills Sports Arena- 4:15-5:15 PM.
SATURDAY & SUNDAY – FOOTHILLS FALL LEAGUE!
Both JV and Varsity are off to a strong start and games continue this weekend!
Foothills Winter League will begin January 3rd and run through February 21st. Registration information for this league will be sent out in December.
GROUPME – PLAYER COMMUNICATION
